A MESSAGE FROM FATHER KEVIN

Welcome to this little oasis in cyberspace: St Anne's website. We hope your visit will provide spiritual refreshment for your spiritual journey.

St Anne's Episcopal Church is an Anglo-catholic parish, located in Crystal River, Florida. "Anglo-catholic" means that our worship of God is sacramental, according to the tradition of the Anglican Church. You can explore Anglicanism at many places in the world-wide web. We recommend the website of the Archbishop of Canterbury: http://www.archbishopofcanterbury.org/

We place great emphasis on deeds of love and mercy, as do all Christians, but we seek to do these deeds in a spirit of prayer. St Anne's Church, first and foremost, is a gathering place for prayer, and everyone coming into this space can feel that Spirit, which permeates our worship, and everything we do. The worship here is "formal", which does not mean "stiff", but liturgical. The form we follow is the liturgy provided in the Book of Common Prayer (http://www.bcponline.org/). Our tradition isn't only a "Sunday thing", but is rather a daily practice of prayer and worship. You can come to St Anne's any day of the week, and find us in the church or chapel, worshiping our gracious Lord and Savior.

Why don't you do that? Come by, and visit us! Sunday masses are held at 8:00 and 10:15. The Daily Office is recited at 9:15 and 4:15, Contemplative Prayer is held at 11:00 on Tuesdays, and a Healing Mass with annointing on Wednesdays at 9:30. Solemn Benediction follows Evening Prayer on Tuesdays. You are welcome here; in fact, we saved a seat for you!
